Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of the Humand website, community, free tools, and role-specific accounts.
Last updated: 8 July 2026 · Version 2026-07
1. Agreement
By accessing humand.co.uk, creating an account, or using our free tools (including as a guest) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Recruitment engagements are additionally governed by separate signed agreements.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be 18 or over to create an account.
3. Acceptable use
Do not submit false or misleading information, harass other members, scrape or bulk-download content, upload malicious code, or use the community for spam or unsolicited approaches.
4. Content you submit
You retain ownership of content you submit (CVs, posts, applications, briefs) and grant Humand a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and process it to deliver the service.
5. Free tools & guest use
Our AI tools (CV Builder, CV Tailoring, and others) are free to use without an account. When you use a tool as a guest we ask for your name and email so we can (a) help if you get stuck and (b) follow up with relevant support — role suggestions for candidates, hiring support for clients. You consent to this contact when you tick the box on the tool. Outputs are AI-assisted and may contain inaccuracies — always review before relying on them.
6. Fees
Website access, community membership and free tools are free. Recruitment fees and job-credit purchases are set out in the applicable engagement or checkout terms at the point of purchase.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time from account settings or via a data request.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Humand is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from use of the free website and tools. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (including for death, personal injury caused by negligence or fraud).
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
