About You
You’ll be someone who enjoys practical engineering and takes pride in producing high-quality work. You might already have experience in vehicle or plant engineering, or be looking to transfer your skills into a more specialised field.
You’ll likely bring experience or interest in:
Working with mechanical assemblies or vehicle builds (HGV, plant, or similar backgrounds are highly valued)
Using a wide range of hand and power tools confidently
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings or schematics
Carrying out basic fabrication tasks
Understanding and working within health & safety guidelines
It would be great (but not essential) if you’ve had exposure to:
Pneumatic or hydraulic systems
Welding techniques such as MIG or TIG
Supervisory or mentoring responsibilities
You’ll also be open to learning new skills, including specialist training required for certain engineering environments.
