Are you an R&D Scientist who enjoys turning complex scientific ideas into practical technology?
Looking for a hands-on role where you can experiment, solve technical problems and help shape new products?
Our client is looking for an R&D Scientist to join a multidisciplinary technical team and contribute to research and product development from early-stage concepts through to testing and deployment.

Design, run and analyse experiments

Build data analysis and modelling tools using Python and/or MATLAB
Work closely with engineering teams to turn research into practical solutions

About You
Our client would love to hear from scientists with experience in areas such as:
Physics, optics, photonics or a related technical discipline
Post PhD research experience
Experimental or applied R&D
Laser-based technologies
Optical systems, waveguides or fibre technologies
Python and/or MATLAB
Translating complex technical findings into clear, practical outcomes
You do not need to tick every box. Relevant or transferable scientific experience is very welcome.
Package
Salary: £45,000+ depending on experience
Working: Full-time with flexible/hybrid working where appropriate
