About the role
Are you a NetSuite Developer who'd like more ownership over the systems you work with?
We're recruiting for a growing Oxfordshire business looking to strengthen its internal technology team with someone who can develop, improve and support its NetSuite environment.
This is an in-house role where you'll work directly with business users and technical colleagues, turning operational requirements into practical system improvements. It's a good fit for someone who enjoys development but also wants to understand how technology is being used across the wider organisation.
The Role
Your work will cover both ongoing development and improvement projects within NetSuite.
You'll create and enhance custom functionality using SuiteScript, investigate issues, improve existing processes and help ensure the platform continues to meet changing business requirements.
Rather than working exclusively on new development, you'll also get involved with established functionality. That means understanding existing customisations, improving code where appropriate and resolving problems within a live business environment.
You'll also contribute to areas such as:
- NetSuite customisation and development
- Workflow and process improvements
- Reporting and analytics
- Data imports, exports and migration activities
- Integrations with other business applications
- System documentation
- Internal improvement projects
You'll work with stakeholders from different areas of the organisation, so you'll need to be comfortable understanding a business problem before deciding on the best technical solution.
What We're Looking For
- You'll already have commercial experience working with NetSuite and be comfortable developing within the platform.
- Experience with SuiteScript is important, and exposure to both older and newer versions of the framework would be particularly useful.
- We're also interested in experience across areas such as NetSuite reporting and analytics, integrations, data management, workflows and system improvement.
- You don't need to tick every box.
We're particularly interested in people who can demonstrate that they understand NetSuite beyond individual development tasks and can think about how changes affect users, processes and data elsewhere in the business.
You'll also need to be able to manage your own workload, communicate clearly with different stakeholders and work through technical problems methodically.
What's on Offer?
You'll be joining an established and growing organisation where NetSuite is an important internal business platform rather than a system you're simply implementing for external customers.
The position offers hybrid working, alongside a broader package including:
- 25 days' annual leave
- Company pension
- Private healthcare benefits
- Life assurance
- Employee wellbeing initiatives
- Learning and professional development support
- Employee recognition and benefits programmes
- Free on-site parking
- On-site leisure and fitness facilities
If you've built up hands-on NetSuite development experience and you're now looking for an in-house position where you can take greater ownership of systems and improvements, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
