Have Your Agent Call My Agent: Making Agreements That Agents Can Keep

Adapting Technical Interviews for the AI Era

Calling all tech founders, technologists and leaders! Join us to network, learn, and grow as a leader in the rapidly evolving tech industry.

Speaker #1 - Matt Roberts

Chair of the Technical Steering Committee of the Accord Project

https://www.linkedin.com/in/mttrbrts/

Matt Roberts is Chair of the Technical Steering Committee of the Accord Project, a Linux Foundation project building open-source standards and tools for smart legal agreements: contracts that both people and software can read and execute. He has spent nine years building legal technology, first at Clause and then at Docusign following its acquisition of Clause, leading engineering teams on contract automation and AI. Based near Oxford, he is interested in how agentic AI will change the way businesses make and keep their promises.

Talk Title: Have Your Agent Call My Agent: Making Agreements with Agents

Dealmakers have always delegated, and increasingly the delegate is an AI agent. But the things that make delegation safe between people, such as clear authority, shared understanding of terms, and a record of what was delivered over time, are still missing for agents. Drawing on open-source work at the Accord Project, Matt follows one contract from signature to renewal to show what changes when agents are involved, and what leaders can do now to be ready.

Speaker #2: Barak Schiller

Director of Engineering at TripAdvisor

https://www.linkedin.com/in/barakschiller/

Barak Schiller has more than 25 years of experience in software development. An engineering director in Tripadvisor, he currently heads their B2B distribution group as part of the biggest experiences marketplace on the planet.

Barak has spent most of his career in e-commerce, working on web and mobile points of sale, payments and B2B APIs.

Talk Title: Adapting Technical Interviews for the AI Era

This talk explores how technical hiring is evolving to match how engineers actually work today. Drawing from real-world trial and error, we’ll walk through a concrete case study of how we designed, tested, and rolled out a modern interview format that evaluates candidates alongside AI tools.
