Hey Berkshire coders!
We’ve got some exciting news. The PHP Berkshire user group is back with our in-person speaker sessions, and we can’t wait to see you all again. It’s been a long break since 2019, but we’re ready to bring together all the passionate PHP developers right here in Reading.
Our first session was a huge hit! Gabor Javorszky kicked things off with an awesome talk on testing in PHP with Pest. His practical examples and clear explanations were super helpful for everyone, no matter their experience level. Plus, members got access to his slides and GitHub repo after the event.
Next up, we had Dan McInerney, the founder of Invitial. He had the audience laughing with his AI-inspired talk on decoupling features via API, using Symfony. It was the perfect mix of humor and technical insights, making it a session you wouldn’t want to miss.
But that’s just the beginning. We’re dedicated to keeping the momentum going. From now on, we’re hosting speaker sessions every other month. It’s your chance to connect with local PHP developers, learn, share knowledge, and stay ahead of the game.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting with PHP, PHP Berkshire is here to welcome you. We can’t wait to see you at the next session!
