Get ready to code some caffeine into your system, because Java Oxford is back!

After a hiatus since 2020, Humand Talent was thrilled to relaunch this beloved meetup group in February, and it was a resounding success! The event brought together over 50 enthusiastic Java developers, all eager to reconnect and delve into the latest advancements in the Java world. We were treated to not one, but two fantastic talks: a big thank you goes out to Tim Pizey and David North for sharing their expertise!

But the learning didn’t stop there. A lively quiz tested the mettle (and memory banks) of our attendees, with the ultimate Java champion taking home a coveted J-Ox mug – a prize any developer would be proud of.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Humand Talent event without refreshments to fuel the discussions. And a huge shout out to GitHub for providing the perfect space for our meetup, and to Andrejus K. for being an excellent host!

Feeling the excitement? We are! The positive energy at the re-launch has us eager to keep the momentum going. Mark your calendars, because J-Ox events will now be happening every other month, providing a platform for knowledge sharing and connections amongst Oxford’s Java community.

To stay in the loop about upcoming meet ups, become a member of the group on MeetUp.com. We can’t wait to see you there!
